      Duty (or customs tariffs) is set by the destination country's customs authorities and is determined based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased and the classification of that merchandise in accordance with a harmonized system adopted and used by the countries that our e-commerce partner, PayPal, supports. Check your local customs authority website for the latest updates on Value Added Tax (VAT) rates, customs tariffs and other fees. ABODE OF SNOW LLC holds no responsibility for fees that are subjected by international authorities.


      All products purchased from the website are transported and delivered to you by an independent carrier not affiliated with, or controlled by, ABODE OF SNOW. Title to the products purchased on the website, as well as the risk of loss for such products, passes to you when ABODE OF SNOW LLC delivers these items to the carrier.


      We are unable to ship domestically and / or internationally to P.O./APO/FPO boxes.


      We have a 10-day return policy, which means you have 10 days after receiving your item to request a return.

      To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

      Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

      We will reimburse you for the original product shipping and cost. The costs will be reimbursed upon inspection of the returned product. Customer is responsible for any customs duties and shipping for returns. We have two return locations available, one in the USA at our HQ in Boulder Colorado, and one in Kojima Japan, for our Asian customers.

      Damages and issues
      Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective or damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and correct it.

      Exceptions / non-returnable items

      Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

      The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

      We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
